Q & A

What is your take on platonic friends becoming lovers?

Welp - this is simple...

In my opinion a good/solid relationship is bred from a solid friendship. How can you be great lovers but aren't friends? I believe that as adults one should truly consider their best friends as their best mates. Why not pursue something with someone that knows you as well as (if not better) than yourself?

But, on the contrary, I do not believe friends should become "lovers" (read: sex partners). I think if friends just randomly add sex into the equation, they will create emotions they did not necessarily want.

I personally would date my best friend. But, I would expect my mate to be my best friend. So, I think friends could be lovers if lovers translates to a relationship.
